Most cost efficiant ways to make a home more valuable while living there?

I live in a fairly spacious two bed, two bath, upstairs condo with a porch, but plan on having another kid in a few years so I will need to be able to sell this place, and I would love to both make it a better experience while I’m here, and worth more money. Currently, I have light baise-ish carpets in the bedrooms and living room and up the stairs, linoleum floors, stark white cabinets that look unfinished (I need to ad hardware, thats cheap enough) double sinks in the bathroom with a large mirror and no room for cabinets/storage, no shelving in the to-small laundry room, and ugly light fictures/fans all around. One thing I KNOW I’m doing is getting film to put over the windows to block UV and lower utility costs, but other then that which things will I be able to do while still here, which will reap the most profit, and which wont make much difference? Thank you

the major focus should be one the bathroom and the kitchen and the flooring you can add laminate flooring over top of the old kitchen flooring and there isnt any gluing or nailing needed it just locks together and floats on top of the old flooring. paint with neutral colors and add storage where ever you can. when you get ready to sell you need to clear out some of your things and make it look as clean and spaceous as possible. people need to imagine it with their stuff in the house. and if you can you need to give it some curb appeal. add flowers or new mailbox or hardware on the door. maybe paint the door or add landscaping. and adding new hardware to the cabinets and drawers will also help something like copper or polished brass that isnt to costly.
