Laundry Pump

Which transfer water pump I can buy that goes on and off automatic when it sense water demand.?
I do water harvesting and I want to run water from water tank into my laundry room. One, I need to build pressure so the washer gets the amount of water it needs. Two, I need for the pump to go off when the washer stop asking for water. I tried with a always on pump and it lost power after a while.
You could use the siphon Technic . Have a drum of water at the same height as the washer . Put a 3\4 ” siphon hose in there . When the water goes on it will siphon . When the water comes up it will stop. Or you could use a pump with a float switch.
